multipurpose sports courts
Benefits of a backyard multipurpose court
If you have children (or adults) that play different sports there is no better way to combine them than with your own backyard multipurpose sports court.
Constructing a multi-purpose sports court is no different to constructing a dedicated basketball or netball court. It can be as simple as adding extra line-marking to the court or we can add more posts or netting to accommodate additional sports. We have constructed basketball courts with golf putting greens and other courts with line-marking for handball. We have also installed inground trampolines.
A multi-purpose courts keeps children and adults of all ages and ability levels occupied in your yard. They can shoot hoops with the basketball post or you can set up some markers and skipping ropes for a backyard bootcamp, the options are endless with a backyard multipurpose court.
Never underestimate the power of investing in your residence. A multi-purpose court will only increase the value of your property, for both you to enjoy and for future resale.
"We never thought that we would be able to get a court onto our block. It's very steep slope and difficult to access. The team from Sports Construction Group explained how it would work with a 3D mockup so that we would really knew how it would look and ran the process with smooth efficiency. Now we have our very own professional quality court just a few short steps from the back deck. No more walking to the park wondering if others were using the court - all thanks to David and his team. Would totally recommend Sports Construction Group!"

Maintaining your backyard multipurpose court
Maintaining a backyard sports court is simple. Remove leaves with a blower to keep the court clear of debris. Use a hose or pressure washer a few times a year to remove build-up of dirt & algae on the courts surface. If there are a lot of trees surrounding your court this will increase the amount of cleaning and maintenance.
We install fully-galvanised post systems that will last.
