There are multiple steps involved in the construction of a sports court. We hold licences in concreting and structural landscaping and can confidently and efficiently handle the entire process of your sports court build so that you only have to deal with one contractor. CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION

In addition to sports court construction, we can also complete concrete works in other forms at your residence, like driveways and shed slabs etc. Coordinating these additional slabs at the same time as your sports court build could save you money on equipment. Commercial concreting is the backbone of our business and our directors have been involved in commercial concreting for decades.

RETAINING WALLS

Retaining walls can be a creative way to separate areas in your yard or a necessary addition to reduce erosion. Concrete sleepers have been a popular choice of material for retaining walls, they are long-lasting and virtually maintenance free. Sports Construction Group are fully-licensed in brick & block-laying so you can be assured that your retaining walls are constructed to a high standard.

FIXED FENCING

We can install fencing that surrounds your tennis courts up to 3 metres in height or netting that keeps stray basketballs at close reach or special netting that you can practice your golf swing against. Fencing options include top and bottom rails, different post diameters and your choice of colour. We use Haverford for our sports netting needs.

FIXED & RETRACTABLE NETTING

Sometimes traditional fencing isn’t required for a standard backyard basketball court. Many times clients require a simple solution to keep stray balls on their side of the property. Soft netting is a great option for this reason and can be hung on a suspended stainless steel wire attached to steel posts. This soft netting is ideal for stopping balls going into the ball, the neighbours yard or down an embankment. We use Australian business Haverford, for our soft netting needs.

POST INSTALLATION

Installing your own basketball post is not an easy operation. As a team we have installed numerous sizes and brands of posts and all of them are slightly different. We install basketball systems from Megaslam, Grandslam, Boomering and Goalrilla. There are fixed posts, adjustable, fully-dunkable and wall-mounted options. The posts we install are done with safety in mind. All basketball posts attached to a large concrete footing (500x500x1000mm) with hold-down bolts and feature post padding. We also install hoops and posts for netball, tennis and volleyball.

LINE-MARKING

We line-mark our courts in accordance with FIBA. The beauty of getting your line-marking done by us is that you can easily incorporate multiple sports court dimensions on the one playing surface. More bang for your buck. In addition to the line-marking we also offer a logo design service on our courts.

FENCING & NETTING
